The type of information we collect depends on how you contact us or what tool you use:
General Contact Forms (Homepage and Contact Page)
Name, phone number, email address, insurance type of interest, and any message you include. These forms initiate contact only — they are not used to collect detailed insurance or personal identification information.
Life Insurance Quoter
Name, phone number, email address, state of residence, date of birth, gender, health class, tobacco status, coverage amount, and coverage type. This information is submitted to request preliminary rate estimates only. It is used to process your quote request, provide preliminary estimates, and allow Whitestone Insurance to contact you regarding coverage. Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment information, or medical records through this tool.
Trucking Quick Quote Request
Name, business name, phone number, email address, state, USDOT number (optional), power units, vehicle type, cargo type, insurance status, desired effective date, coverage needed, and preferred contact method. This is a preliminary inquiry — not a full application. Do not submit driver license images, Social Security numbers, or payment information through this form.
Full Commercial Auto & Trucking Application
Business name, legal entity type, FEIN/Tax ID, address, contact information, vehicle schedule, driver schedule (including license information and MVR authorization), coverage selections, loss history, and signature. This form is used to compile information for submission to insurance carriers for underwriting review. The information collected through this form is necessary to obtain a quote or bind coverage.
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website, we may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. This information is used to maintain and improve website functionality and, on pages that use advertising technologies, for the advertising purposes described in Section 4. It is not linked to individually identifiable information in most cases.

We use information you provide to:
- Respond to your insurance inquiries and quote requests
- Contact you by phone, text, or email regarding your request or available coverage options
- Process applications and submit information to insurance carriers for underwriting, where applicable
- Coordinate required filings or registrations through applicable third-party service providers

- Measure and improve our advertising (see Section 4)

3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Insurance carriers and underwriters: When you submit a full application or request that we obtain quotes on your behalf, we provide relevant information to insurance carriers for underwriting review. This is necessary to obtain a quote or place coverage.
- Third-party service providers: We use third-party services to process forms, deliver submissions, and coordinate quote requests — including Formspree (form delivery) and Compulife (life insurance rate estimation). These providers receive information only as necessary to perform their specific functions.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.
Sharing is limited to what is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which you submitted the information. Contact form submissions are used only to respond to your inquiry — they are not shared with insurance carriers.
4. Cookies and Website Tracking
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for basic site functionality and analytics. We do not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information without your knowledge. You can adjust your browser settings to decline cookies, though doing so may affect some website functionality.
Advertising, Analytics & Meta Pixel
Some of our web pages, including our trucking insurance quote pages, may use the Meta Pixel and similar technologies (such as cookies and small pieces of code) provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., the company that operates Facebook.
These technologies may collect information about your visit and how you interact with the page, such as your browser and device type, IP address, the pages you view, the website or advertisement that referred you, and actions you take on the page — for example, that a quote request was submitted.
We use this information to measure and analyze the results of our advertising, to understand which advertisements lead to quote requests, and to improve our advertising campaigns. Meta may receive this information through these technologies and handle it under its own privacy practices, described in the Meta Privacy Policy.
We do not configure the Meta Pixel for the purpose of sending Meta the contents of our insurance applications or detailed insurance information, such as driver or vehicle information entered into our full application. Our full Commercial Auto & Trucking Application does not use the Meta Pixel. The Pixel on our quote pages is used for website and advertising measurement, such as recording page visits and whether a quote request was submitted.
You can limit these technologies by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings, by using your device's advertising settings, and by adjusting your Facebook ad preferences. These choices can limit how information about your visit is used to tailor ads to you, but they may not stop all advertising, and you may still see ads, including ads from us.
Agreeing to receive text messages from us is separate from these technologies: text message consent is not consent to advertising tracking, and visiting our website or submitting a quote request does not, by itself, mean you have agreed to receive marketing text messages.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted through our website.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, payment card information, account passwords, or sensitive medical records through our general contact forms or quote request tools.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain records related to placed insurance policies, and to comply with applicable legal obligations. Contact form submissions and quote requests that do not result in placed coverage are retained for a reasonable period to allow follow-up.
